Sticking with the keyboard theme, here are a couple more tips that we hope you find useful while utilizing technology throughout the day!!

CTRL + N = NEW WINDOW CTRL + O = OPEN FILE CTRL + X = CUT

CTRL + HOME = MOVE CURSOR TO BEGINNING OF DOC CTRL + END = MOVE CURSOR TO END OF DOC

    Good Morning Everyone, Happy Tips and Tricks on Thursday!! Are you or anyone you know a member at Costco??!! If so, Then this Tip is for YOU! Did you know that If you take your empty ink cartridges to Costco they can get refilled while you shop??! They have high-tech system cleans, refills, and tests of your cartridges at one low price ranging from 8-10 dollars! This is considerably cheaper than buying a new cartridge. We also would like to provide you with a nice keyboard trick in addition to the Costco tip. So Some people may know that using the space bar will scroll down on a webpage, but what you might not know is that if you hold the SHIFT key and hit the space bar, it allows you to scroll back up! How cool is that?? We hope you enjoy our weekly TIPS and TRICKS, as always feel free to let us know what kind of tips you might want to see in the Future!

    Today we are exploring the world of a PowerPoint Presentation. Did you know if you save the slide show with a .PPS or .PPSX file extension this will start the show instantly for your viewers when you open it????? In addition to that tip you would want to remember that to exit the slideshow you can do so by simply pressing the ESC button on your keyboard! People often question what the 10/ 20/ 30 rule is in regards to a PowerPoint presentation, So we are gonna fill you in on that little bit of information today as well! This rule states that a PowerPoint should have TEN slides, last no more than TWENTY minutes, and contain no font smaller than THIRTY!! So there you have it, a little knowledge into the PowerPoint Presentation world! We hope you enjoy these tips and tricks. Have a GREAT WEEK!
