Software Engineers:

​

Key responsibilities and accountability:

​

  • Development and documentation of specifications

  • Design , development and documentation of software

  • Manage and maintain existing software systems

  • Serve as project technical contact

  • Development of new software solutions and implementations

  • Provide guidance and technical support to other team members

  • Provide guidance and assist in troubleshooting software bugs

  • Provide phone/electronic support on technical software issues

 

Requirements:

  • S. (Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering)

  • 5-7 years of experience with Application Development and programming

  • Object oriented design and development

  • Knowledge of Visual Studio (.NET and 6.0, C# and VB, WPF)

  • Knowledge of PLC controllers

  • Manufacturing/Production environment mindset

  • Must be able to multitask and able to adapt to frequent customer driven changes

  • Travel required (15 to 20%)

  • Must be a team player

  • Ability to meet “tight” schedules and willing to work towards developing and using best software practices

 

Network Engineers:

​

Key responsibilities and accountability:

​

  • Provide IT support, assistance and troubleshooting, either on-site or through remote desktop platforms.

  • Configuration, installation and troubleshooting of servers, routers, workstations, software and hardware to meet client needs.

  • Configuration of workstations in a LAN environment.

  • Establishment of LAN/WAN connectivity and troubleshooting.

  • Provide high level of networking expertise to BIG personnel and clients.

  • Participation in project management activities, such as marketing, billing, client relationships and coordination with other design team members.

  • Interaction directly with clients of all knowledge levels, and at any level of their organization, is crucial for success.

  • Other duties as assigned.

 

CORE COMPETENCIES/REQUIREMENTS

​

  • Associates or Bachelor degree in information technology or related field is preferred, and a minimum (2-4) years experience with configuration, installation and troubleshooting of firewalls/routers/switches; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

  • Advanced certifications (Cisco, Microsoft) a plus.

  • Minimum 2-4 years of experience with Microsoft OS for servers and workstations.

  • Minimum 2-4 years of experience with e-mail servers, ISP’s, network monitoring tools and TCP/IP protocols.

  • Experience configuring Active Directory, GPO’s, DNS, DHCP, WSUS, VPN, ACL’s and firewalls.

  • Experience with configuring virtual servers (VMware preferred) and configuring storage area networks to support virtual servers.

  • Experience with backup solutions, tape rotation methods, and writing disaster recovery plans.

  • Experience with security and anti-virus/anti-malware solutions.

  • Microsoft Office knowledge required.

  • Strong verbal and written skills with the ability to effectively communicate and document your work.

  • Current State issued driver’s license, clean driving record, reliable transportation and proof of valid auto insurance.

 

Technical Sales:

​

Key responsibilities and accountability:

​

  • Assist current customers, along with researching and prospecting new customer

  • Assist customers with determining best solutions, and the implementation of technical products

  • Develop long-term relationships with clients through managing and interpreting their requirements

  • Persuading clients that a product or service best satisfies their needs in terms of quality, support, price and delivery

  • Providing pre-sales demonstrations and product education, and after-sales support services

  • Supporting marketing activities by attending trade shows, conferences and other marketing events

  • Making technical presentations and demonstrating how a product best meets client needs

 

Qualifications and Experience:

​

  • Prior Sales and customer service experience required

  • Communication and "Close the Sale" mentality

  • Ability to work cooperatively in team environment

 

Managed Services Consultants:

​

Key responsibilities and accountability:

 

  • BA/BS degree or Masters preferred not required or equivalent industry experience.

  • The job holder must be seen as a credible business partner by peers, clients and the IT leadership team and must be able to influence resources to deliver in a matrix environment while maintaining high customer satisfaction. Strong leadership will be required to develop the IT Operations organization and to perform effectively as an IT service.

  • The job holder must be able to manage multiple work streams with input from resources from a variety of teams, delivering high quality, on budget, within schedule solutions as an IT service. He/she must have demonstrated matrix organization management experience.

  • The job holder must clearly convey information and ideas through a variety of media to individuals or groups in a manner that engages the audience and helps them understand and retain the message. An individual with excellent interpersonal skills and influencing ability who can win the confidence of individuals at all levels, both inside and outside of the organization. The job holder must have excellent written and verbal communication skills.

  • An individual who can work effectively in a collaborative environment and foster teamwork across all levels of the organization.

  • The job holder must have a background in successful service delivery related to IT-managed and supported systems.

  • The job holder must have broad industry knowledge and collaboration skills to bring forward new ideas to improve service delivery, speed, and cost optimization.

  • The job holder should possess strong analytical and process management skills and have a broad understanding of business strategy, financial management and operations. He/she must be able to clearly articulate the business value proposition for all IT enabled risk and compliance initiatives.

  • Experience with external IT data centers and a complex 24/7 operation required.

  • Operations experience, including capacity planning and forecasting, risk management, incident response and recovery, Microsoft platforms for desktop, Security controls and standards at desktop and laptop and business continuity, required.

  • Expertise in desktop support applications to include patch management, licensing, security compliance, Microsoft build standards, encryption, laptop controls and golden images.

  • Knowledge in standards - ISO 27001, ISO 9001, HIPAA, SSAE18 and PCI 3.2.

  • Posses extensive experience in managing global desktop support functions for an organization. Must demonstrate cost reduction measures, trending and analytics, process control and efficiencies, inventory management, strong reporting based on KPI’s.

  • Experience: 10-15 years experience
